Our hearts are deeply saddened by the home going of our beloved Jimmy Gurley, of Bennettsville, South Carolina. “Mr. Jimmy,” as he was known, was a loving father, husband, uncle, cousin, grandfather, great grandfather, godfather, and friend.
“Mr. Jimmy” was born on June 28, 1937, son of the late William and Sylvia Gurley. He departed this earthly life on March 31, 2020. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Charlie, Willie, Fred, Ernest, Gracie Gurley, and Helen Morris.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020, 2 p.m. at Ideal Cemetery, Bennettsville, South Carolina.
Randy Maurice Easterling

Randy Maurice Easterling, son of the late John Douglas Easterling and Ola M. Ford was born on November 20, 1963 in Marlboro County, South Carolina. On Sunday, March 29, 2020 Randy entered into eternal rest in Cheraw, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Eloise Moore, stepfather John Ford and one grandson Ja’Bari Shy’Mere Easterling.
Randy was a member of Greater Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2020, 2:00 p.m. at Ideal Cemetery, in Bennettsville, South Carolina with Reverend James E. Brown, officiating.
Mollie Mae Williams
Mollie Mae Williams, 85, of Bennettsville, South Carolina was granted her heavenly wings on March 26, 2020 at her residence. Her final days were spent surrrounded by her family. Mollie Mae Williams was born on October 18, 1934, in Blenheim, South Carolina to Ed McRae and Ida Mae Williams.
Mollie leaves to cherish her memory two sons: Reverend Evans (Shirley) Williams of Blenheim, SC, and Timothy Parnell of the home; three daughters: Ada Mae (Melvin) Peterson of San Antonio, TX, Geneva Williams of the home, and Inetta (Ricky) Ward of Bennettsville, SC; a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a community of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, 11:00n am at the Berea Convention Center, Bennettsville, South Carolina, followed by Interment at Cedar Fall Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
