Betty Jean Chance Henegan

Betty Jean Chance Henegan, the daughter of Ulysses and Gladys Chance, was born on February 22, 1942 in Milen, Georgia. She was called to rest and take her seat in her heavenly home on August 9, 2020.
Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Ulyann Chance and Ophelia Chance and her niece Lucrishia Malloy.
Left to cherish her beloved spirit are her husband John Troy Henegan, Jr.; children: Murshell (Sam) Bland of Hackensack, NJ, John Troy III (Monique) Henegan of Florence, SC, and Jermaine (Pam) Henegan of Bennettsville, SC; nine grandchildren: Samantha and Sydney Bland, Jontia, Brooklyn, and John Troy Henegan IV; Unique Henegan, Titorell and Shazia Townsend, and Verkina Townsend. God gifted Betty with one daughter-in-love, Lisa Hartsfield. Betty is also survived by a sister Elizabeth Stultz of Brooklyn, NY; brother Otis (Beverly) Chance of Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law Geraldine (Bobby) Doctor of Fayetteville, GA; brother-in-law Ronald (Patricia) Henegan of Bennettsville, SC; godsons and goddaughters, a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends whom she loved as family.
A Service of Love and Remembrance for Mrs. Henegan was held on Friday, August 14th, 9:00 a.m. at the home.
