The whisper we heard, on September 26, 2020, was the call from Heaven letting us know it was time for you to go home. You followed that whisper to your resting place with Jesus.Mrs. Alice K. Sensabaugh was born on March 27, 1930 to the late Tossie and Mattie Kollock. Mrs. Alice loved her family, church, and helping people and it was evident through her services, loyalty and giving spirit. She was a foster parent and driver for the Shriner's Hospital and the Department of Social Services for nineteen years until her retirement. Mrs. Alice was married to the late Wilmott Sensabaugh until his earthly departure in July 2001. She was very well known in the community especially for her talent as a seamstress, making countless clothes and alterations.She leaves behind to cherish her love and memories: Her special daughter Karen Poe (Isaac) of the home, Karonda (Robert) Pouncey of Clio SC, Jerry Rutledge of Jacksonville FL, Anntoria Brown of Bennettsville SC, Avonda Hammonds of Batavia OH; fifteen grandchildren: Khaliah Sensabaugh, Trianna Pouncey, Ja'san Galloway "Man", Char'lay Poe, Gloryonna Poe, Darius Sensabaugh, Zy'meir Quick, Ka'won Quick, Dashawn Zimmerman, Emmanuel Hammonds, Amaziah Hammonds, Rovon Hammonds, Kelis Richardson, Jakiya Rutledge and DanQuarious Poe; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Memorial services were held on Friday, October 2, 1:00 pm at St. Michael Hope Ministries, 105 Powers Street, Bennettsville, South Carolina 29512 with Apostle Michael Woodham, officiating.
