"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.............."~Matthew 11:28-30On Sunday, August 18, 2019 Mrs. Eva Hopkins, our loving Mother "Lil' Ma," Grandmother, Aunt and friend to many gained her wings. She was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on September 28, 1935 to the late John McClain and the late Martha Knight-McLain (Big Ma). Eva was the youngest of fourteen children.A Celebration of Life service was held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at the Historical Sawmill Missionary Baptist Church, 1167 Willamette Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina officiated by Reverend James J. Anderson, pastor.
