Mrs. Shirley J. Johnson

Shirley Jean Johnson, was born on June 9, 1944 to Cathleen Jackson. She was the first of three children. On Tuesday morning March 10, 2020 her spirit returned unto God who gave it.

Mrs. Shirley was a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church. There she served faithfully as a Deaconess, member of the Nannie Edwards Missionary Circle, and a member of the Usher board. Additionally, she was a charter member of the Joint Stock Lodge #304.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted husband, Godfrey W. Johnson, Sr., their two sons Godfrey W. Johnson, Jr. and Derek E. Johnson; four grandchildren: Gevon, Janiyah, Lyla, and Rubi; a host of cousins, relatives, and special friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, Bennettsville, South Carolina with interment at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
