Ms. Carolyn Frazier Bridges

Carolyn Frazier Bridges of Bennettsville, South Carolina departed this earthly life on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Conway, South Carolina. She was born November 28, 1950 to the late Columbus and Ida Mae Frazier. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Frazier and Jimmy Frazier.
At an early age, Carolyn accepted Jesus as her personal Saviour and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and later became a member of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Carolyn attended Eastside High School. She was employed with United Technology for over twenty-six years. After retiring she started babysitting and has cared for many children in the neighborhood who have now grown up and would stop by to see her.
Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and so much more. She loved her family with her whole heart and was always ready and willing to help in any way she could. She was an easy going and lovable person.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Carlene Bridges (Victor) Hamlin; sons: James Frank (Montina) Bridges of Bennettsville, SC and Barry Jermaine (Ernestina) Bridges of Cheraw, SC; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three sisters: Ethel McArthur of Clio, SC, Hattie (Dave) Fennell of Salisbury, NC, and Beverly Frazier of Greensboro, NC; two brothers: Elijah Frazier of Long Island, NY and Columbus Frazier, Jr. of Bennettsville, SC; seven sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law, her best friends Christa Green and Irene Allen; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 11:00 am at the Berea Baptist Convention Center, Bennettsville, SC.
