Robert Lee (Bo) Covington, Jr.

Robert Lee Covington, Jr. (Bo), the son of the late Robert Lee Covington, Sr. and Lucille Covington was born October 9, 1956 in Marlboro County, South Carolina. He departed this life on October 3, 2020 at his home.
Two things Bo took pride in and bought him joy was landscaping his yard and taking care of his dogs. Robert was the neighborhood watchman and protected everyone. His presence impacted many lives and he will truly be missed.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, father and his brother Michael.
Those left to cherish loving and fond memories are his wife of thirty-five years Brenda Ford Covington; daughter Chataqua Covington of Norfolk, VA; son Karon (Tamica) Hill of Dallas, TX; two stepdaughters: Chanka Ford of Virginia Beach, VA and Alecia Ford of Chesapeake, VA; five grandchildren, five step grandchildren; sisters: Pearlie Lawson of Bennettsville, SC, Sara Covington of Greenbelt, MD, Mary Covington of Winston Salem, NC; sisters-in-law: Donna Moore and Saundra Ford both of Norfolk, VA, Shirley Hill of Arlington, VA; brothers-in-law: James Ford of Bennettsville, SC and Ernest Moore of Norfolk, VA; aunts: Ernestine Cook and Gladys (James) Breeden; uncle Eugene (Gloria) Cook; special friends: Richard Jacobs, Marion Smalls, and Bobby Parnell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2:00 pm at Spears United Methodist Church Cemetery, Highway #9, Bennettsville, South Carolina. Reverend Judith A. Knox, Officiant
